On Thursday this week, Colonel Mark Underhill represented the Lord-Lieutenant at the official opening of Sefton CVS refurbished office at Burlington House, Sefton.
In attendance was the CEO (Angela White), salaried staff, vice-chair, board and trustees as well as other guests of Sefton CVS. The official opening – the cutting of the ribbon – was undertaken by The Worshipful Mayor of Sefton – Cllr June Burns. Colonel Underhill spoke on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant (who is president of the charity), passing on his best wishes and congratulating all those who were involved in the project.
Sefton CVS is a great charity with its mission: To promote and assist voluntary, community and faith sector activity.
A great couple of hours was had by all attendees.
