Many thanks to the Mayor of Wirral, Cllr Brian Kenny and Mayoress Mrs. Helen Kenny for hosting an afternoon tea for the two groups in Wirral who have been nominated for The King’s Award for Voluntary Service this year.
The two groups nominated for this year’s awards are Moreton in Bloom, and the UK North Blind Sailing Association. Both groups do outstanding work in Wirral all on a purely voluntary basis, helping to make the environment better for everyone and improving people’s lives.
Results will be announced on 14th November, The King’s birthday. We wish both groups the best of luck.
