A very interesting visit was made to The Holistic Cancer Centre in Wirral, learning about this incredible community facility for people across Merseyside. This haven of calm and care, provides nurse-led treatments and services to over 2,300 people each year, who have been diagnosed with Cancer, receiving over 7,000 sessions. The charity supports people through all stages of their treatment journey, including after discharge from clinical treatment, and those living with cancer. Their amazing services includes Counselling, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Acupuncture to name but a few.
Thank you to the incredible team of staff and the many volunteers for everything you do in our community, to support so many people. This amazing charity is one of the Mayor of Wirral’s Charities this year and some of our Deputy Lieutenants visited to learn more about their valuable work.
