At the 11th hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, in 1918 World War One ended.
Today and over the weekend across Merseyside, Remembrance Services have taken place as we mark the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives for our freedom in that war and the wars which have taken place since.
We also remember and thank those who fought and came back, and those who served at home.
Let us pray and hope that we will never need to fight such battles again.
