Liverpool Town Hall was the outstanding venue for the Lubavitch Chanukah Lighting last night hosted by Michelle Hayward, Vice President and Civic Liaison Officer of the Merseyside Jewish Representative Council (MJRC).
The MJRC, established in 1944, represents the Jewish communities of Liverpool, Southport, Wirral, Chester, and surrounding areas. Acting as an umbrella organization, it fosters cohesion within the Jewish community and promotes collaboration with local authorities. The MJRC supports Jewish educational, cultural, and religious activities while advancing interfaith and inter-ethnic harmony.
