Yesterday evening, St John Ambulance Merseyside held their annual carol service at Liverpool Parish Church. During the service a number of significant achievements were also celebrated, and it provided an opportunity for the Lord-Lieutenant to thank everyone for their significant impact in supporting our communities to be safer places, easing pressure on public services such as the NHS, and providing opportunities for young people and adult volunteers to develop life skills and their role in civil society.
