The King’s Trust Programme

It was a lovely evening at Hugh Baird College as the students from The King’s Trust Team 29  presented final reflections of their learning journey as they graduated from the programme.

Describing the impact the programme has had on their lives, improving confidence, resilience and team working skills, it was clear that this will be a solid foundation to enable them to continue learning as they pursue their chosen careers. Along with parents and carers, Sue Higginson OBE DL was inspired as they watched their final presentation with great admiration, as they each told their story of the last 60 days that will, surely, have changed their lives!

It was also a great opportunity to meet the talented staff team who have nurtured their learning and the employer partners who contributed to the programme and thank them all for their contribution.

My thanks to Julie for attending on my behalf, to award their certificates, and wish them every success for the future, with each building on their success through progression to Further and Higher Education.
