Many congratulations to Bootle Action Group CIC, The Breckfield & North Everton Council Ltd, and Sea Cadets Sefton on receiving your very well deserved King’s Award for Voluntary Service on Tuesday evening.

We heard many stories of volunteers stepping forward, proving that kindness and collective action are amongst our county’s greatest strengths and everyone involved in these three groups should be rightly proud of their achievements.

Thanks also to The Jockey Club at Aintree Racecourse for providing the outstanding venue for the presentation of these awards in the heart of the community. It was very much appreciated.

And finally thank you for the photography to Jayden Roberts, currently studying at LJMU, one of two students working with us on our communications. There will hopefully be some filmed footage coming outing a few weeks’ time.
