Rainford Parish Council’s annual Civic Service took place at All Saints Parish Church, Rainford on Sunday 7 June.

In attendance were Madam Chair Carol Whalley, Mayor of St Helens Councillor Stephen Little, and Anne Morris DL.

Rainford BBGA led the service, following the theme of “Leadership”.

Rainford Silver Band led the procession from the Village Hall  to the church, and back again after the service for refreshments. They provided the music for the hymns, and also for a joyous singing of The National Anthem.
