In the beautiful surroundings of St George’s Hall, Liverpool, people from 28 different countries around the world pledged their Oath of Allegiance to His  Majesty The King, as they became our newest British Citizens.  Sue Higginson OBE attended on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside to welcome our newest British Citizens and thank them for the contributions they are making in their professional and community lives. 

Sue  said, “it was an absolute privilege to meet our newest UK Citizens and to hand to them their Certificate of Citizenship.  I wish them every success as they continue to build a successful future in Merseyside.”
