Today, 24th August, is Ukraine’s Independence Day. On Saturday, we joined the Ukrainian Catholic Church and Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain to celebrate. The celebration began with the Divine Liturgy, followed by an ecumenical service of commemoration for the departed.
