Congratulations to our 40 new British Citizens, who took the Oath of Allegiance to His Majesty The King and pledged their loyalty to the United Kingdom, at ceremonies in St George’s Hall, Liverpool on Sunday.

Representing 30 different Countries from around the World, our newest citizens celebrated their special day with loved ones.

Sue Higginson OBE DL attended as a Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside, representing the Lord-Lieutenant.

Sue wished our newest British Citizens continued success for the future, and thanked them for the personal and professional contributions they make as members of our community. Thanks also to the Official Registrar, Kay and her team for making the events so special.
