On 20th October The North West Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (NWRFCA) held the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Awards presentation with each of the Lord-Lieutenants of Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside presenting to recipients from their counties.

From Merseyside, we say a huge congratulations and thank you for your commitment to our Armed Forces community to Abbey Group, APCL Group, Birkdale Park Nursing Home, Calday Grange Grammar School, CRG TEC, EFT Group, Glassbond, GSTS Security Services, IOM Steam Packet, Kaizen Summit, MMCG. Consulting, MPE, Privilege HR, Resolve Legal Solutions, the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust, Trek Therapy, Ubiquity Risk Management (pictured here) and to all silver award recipients.

The scheme encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. It encompasses Bronze, Silver and Gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
