Acre View Primary School in Sefton welcomed Deputy Lieutenant Sue Higginson OBE to their campus recently, to continue the roll out of the Merseyside Lieutenancy’s Schools’ Programme.  The children in Year 5/6 participated in the programme with great enthusiasm. 

Sue said ‘Thank-you for the warmest of welcomes and for fully engaging in the programme with talent and enthusiasm.  I was so impressed with the work you are doing and really interested in your ‘Eco’ work. I hope the ‘Children’s Terra Carta’ book we left with you helps with your ‘Eco’ enrichment curriculum.’ 

Assistant Headteacher,  Mr Jackson, said ‘ Thank you so much for visiting us today. I checked in with staff and children and got some lovely feedback. The children really enjoyed your visit and found it very interesting.’
