William (Billy) Hui

Billy is a musician, presenter and entertainer known for his work locally and internationally since 1988. He regularly performs at live events in a variety of venues around the North West area. Nowadays, he is known for being the founder and musical director of the multi-award winning SingMe Merseyside Choir and can be heard on his weekly radio programmes across BBC Radio Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria.

 

Billy is also a prolific fundraiser and supports many local and national charities. This led him to receive a British Empire Medal from The Queen as part of the 2021 New Year’s Honours for services to the people of Merseyside. Billy was also one of the lucky few who was invited to attend the King’s Coronation in Westminster Abbey. He is delighted and honoured to be commissioned as a Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside.
