On Sunday 8th June 2025 Sue Higginson OBE DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside and His Majesty The King, at two British Citizenship Ceremonies, held in the stunning St George’s Hall Liverpool where 38 new British Citizens were welcomed.
Sue said, “It was a privilege to celebrate this special moment with our newest citizens, whose journey to this point has been a long one. I enjoyed hearing the incredible professional and community contributions each of our new Citizens are making and I congratulate them all on becoming our newest British Citizens. Thank you for choosing our wonderful City and surrounding areas, as your home.”
