On Sunday 14th June there were two citizenship ceremonies held at St. George’s Hall, with around thirty people including four children being made British Citizens.
One young man, around seven years old read his allegiance to The King out so loud, he received a rousing round of applause and apparently he instantly became an honorary scouser. He was absolutely delighted.
Thanks to Julie Lawson BEM DL for representing the Lord-Lieutenant at this Citizenship Ceremony where the privileges and responsibilities of being a British Citizen are highlighted, along with recognising the contribution that our new British Citizens make to our communities. You are all very welcome.
