Claire House Children’s Hospice held their annual Christmas Carol Concert on Tuesday evening, 9th December at St. John The Evangelist Church, in Knotty Ash. The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund Merseyside awarded a grant of £4,800 to Claire House in January this year to provide experiences and trips for young people receiving palliative care in order to provide a sense of normality, excitement and joy.
Liam Hanlon DL, who is a member of the Duchy Grants Committee attended the Carol Concert with his wife and said,
“We had a wonderful evening as guests at the Claire House Christmas Carol Concert on Tuesday evening.
It was lovely to hear about the amazing support Claire House provides for our community and the emotional testimonials and readings from Lady Dodd and some of the families they have supported.
It was a privilege to represent the DOLBF committee at such a beautiful, festive event.”
