The Chair of the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund Merseyside Grants Committee, Col (retired) Mark Underhill OBE DL, Liam Hanlon DL and the Clerk of the Lieutenancy attended a Funders’ Fair organised by LCVS on Thursday last week at the very impressive Florence Institute, known by all as The FLorrie.
Marlene Amoo DL also spoke at the gathering, which provided a great opportunity for many voluntary and charitable groups in the community to find out about organisations like ours which might be able to help. The Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund Merseyside is aimed at small local charities and voluntary groups, giving grants up to the value of £5,000.
