A 45th Anniversary Celebration for the Guides facility at Woodbank, Eccleston, St Helens, took place on Sunday 6th September 2026.
The outdoor photographs include Cheryl Gregson, (former County Commissioner for the Guides and one of the organisers of the event) and Sylvia Macaulay (one of three current County Commissioners). The event was attended by approximately 40 past and current volunteers and included Roger Phillips DL.
David Steer KC DL attended on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant.
Also attending was Lord Derby DL who spoke, as his uncle gifted the site to the Guides in 1981.
