Global Women Leadership Summit

The University of Liverpool, Liverpool John Moores University and Liverpool Hope University recently hosted a magnificent three-day event – the Global Women Leadership Summit 2025 held at Liverpool Hope Park and organised by the Visionary Women Network.

The summit was held under the theme, “Leading with Purpose: Creating a Lasting Legacy”, and convened influential leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers and change makers from across the globe. It featured keynote addresses from women such as Her Royal Majesty Queen Nat Tsotsoo Soyoo I, from the Ga Kingdom of Ghana and Matron of the Global Visionary Women Network, the Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Barbara Murray and Natalie Reeves Billing DL who officially opened the event on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant but was also attending as a guest speaker.

Natalie reported that, “The event was filled with warmth, wisdom and celebration of women’s achievements, connection and community, where shared stories and support reminded us just how powerful collaboration can be.”
