On Thursday 26th March the Mayor of Sefton, Cllr June Burns, presented the Honorary Freedom of the Borough to Frank Cottrell-Boyce on behalf of Sefton Council.
It recognises Frank’s exceptional contribution to arts, literature and community life across Sefton, including his acclaimed work writing the opening ceremony for the London 2012 Summer Olympics.
He has a lifelong commitment to promoting literacy and creativity – and particularly within Sefton where he was born and is still proud to call home.
Congratulations to Frank, and thank you for your continued commitment to our communities.
