There have been Iftar Celebrations taking place across the County with the Vice Lord-Lieutenant Dr. Ruth Hussey CB OBE joining Mumin Khan at the Abdullah Quilliam Society on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant on Saturday and Sue Higginson OBE DL joining an Iftar hosted by the Dialogue Society.
Ruth was delighted to attend the Iftar on Saturday and to hear about Vision 2035 and thanks everyone at the Abdullah Quilliam Society for their warm welcome and delicious food.
Sue joined a community Iftar hosted by the Dialogue Society at South Wirral High School, focused on the theme of building community trust. People came from across Merseyside and were able to share the delicious food, meet people from across the region and hear from speakers.
