Many thanks to the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr William Shortall, for inviting us to join him as Liverpool celebrated Armed Forces Day on Saturday, 27 June 2026, with a Military Music Spectacular by two of the City’s very own Military Bands – The Band of The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment and The Pipes and Drums of The Liverpool Scottish Regimental Association.

The Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Dr. Ruth Hussey CB OBE, attended on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant, enjoying the excellent music and professionalism of the bands, veterans and RBL on parade.
