The Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside and the Merseyside Lieutenancy are very keen on giving support to local groups and organisations. Here are just some examples of our involvement:
- Arranging a visit of the Lord-Lieutenant to visit your organisation or group
- Helping to celebrate the work within the community and encouraging volunteering
- Providing advice on nominating someone for an individual Honour
- Providing advice and offering support if you are considering a request for a member of the Royal Family to visit your organisation or business
- Advising on the nomination process for the King’s Award for Voluntary Service
- Where appropriate, supporting social media or media coverage
