Members of Rainford Parish Council held a civic service on Sunday 1st June, attended by Anne Morris DL on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant.
Rainford Band lead the procession from the Village Hall to the Church on a day with moody threatening clouds but on which the rain held off.
Following the service, light refreshments were held in the beautiful Parish Village Hall.
