The Lord-Lieutenant and consort visited the RBL Armed Forces Community Hub in Southport on Saturday 14th February. The Hub celebrated its 4th anniversary by holding an open house. The Lord-Lieutenant was able to meet with the inspiring volunteers who operate the Hub day in, day our, hear their person reasons for serving the community and see at first hand how the Hub has strengthened the community.
The Lord-Lieutenant also met Dennis – the Branch’s current oldest member, who will shortly be celebrating his 95th birthday later this month. An inspiring day.
Also in attendance were the High Sheriff and consort and other civic dignitaries.
