The Tranmere Rovers Veteran’s Community Hub was launched on Saturday 7th March. The launch of this fantastic initiative had many organisations in attendance to show support and hear the opening welcome from Club Chairman Mark Palios and Chief Operating Officer Christine Roberts. Liam Hanlon DL attended on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant and the event was also attended by Deputy Lieutenant Jan Cox QVRM DL in her role with the North West RFCA, as well as Mayor of Wirral Cllr Brian Kenny. Passionate and heartfelt presentations were heard from guests along with open discussions which created a tangible buzz in the Tranmere Board Room afterwards which was exceptional. Well done to everyone for their support in bringing this together.
Colonel (Retired) Mark Underhill OBE DL was also in attendance alongside veteran Andy Reid as trustees of the Standing Tall Foundation. We wish Ian Stowe the Hub Co-Ordinator every success in his progress with the project.
