Hazel Snell DL represented the Lord-Lieutenant on Saturday evening at Thornton Hall Hotel in Wirral at an event to celebrate Ugandan Nurses and Midwives.
The theme of the event was, “building resilience for minoritised healthcare workforce in an evolving and dynamic national health service.“
Hazel said, “Congratulations to the UNMA-UK President, Justine Nakimuli Kigozi Odwongo and the organising committee for an event full of energy, passion and fun but also with an important message highlighting the need for collective action to promote Mental Health and Resilience in the UK and Ugandan health care systems.”
