The Mayor of Wirral held his Civic Ball on 10th October , raising funds for his charities which include The Holistic Cancer Centre and Mersey Mind Project. Other Civic Leaders attending this charity fundraising event included Mayors of a number of neighbouring boroughs, the Lord Mayor of Chester and dignitaries from the Peruvian Navy, visiting Wirral to celebrate their special historic links. Funds raised by the event will contribute to the Mayor of Wirral’s Charities.
Sue Higginson OBE DL attended on behalf of the Lord-Lieutenant and commented, “It was a wonderful evening, celebrated in the beautiful Wallasey Town Hall, that brought community together to raise much needed funding for great, local charities.”
