The Lord-Lieutenant visited several of the incredibly impactful Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations based in Wirral recently.

Many thanks to Wirral CVS and everyone who welcomed us so warmly. We’ll be back, as we know there is much more to see and support, and we are looking forward to spending more time like this right across Merseyside.

In this Volunteers’ Week, it is time to celebrate the quiet force which has long been shaping communities across Merseyside. Every day, thousands of people give the most precious gift they can – their time – to support charities, vital local services, and those who may benefit from a little support. Your efforts strengthen the fabric and cohesion of our communities in so many ways; and the value of your work will continue for years to come.
