The Lieutenancy Schools’ Programme continues, with Liam Hanlon DL attending at Evelyn CP School yesterday to give our presentation on the Monarchy. The children clearly enjoyed the presentation and we know the Deputy Lieutenants love to make these visits.

Centenary year – St. Helens Cenotaph marked.

In St. Helens on Sunday 26th April 2026, the centenary of the St. Helens Cenotaph was marked in Victoria Square. A new memorial was also unveiled to recognise the vital role played by women during times of war and conflict. We Will Remember Them.

Pride of Sefton Awards
